Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is a sitcom that has been in circulation since 2008, airing from Monday to Friday on SAB TV. The show revolves around the lives of 8 families living in Goregaon Mumbai based on articles of a similar name by a novelist, who provides narration for the show’s events.

Mahakali– Anth hi Aarambh hai is a mythical show on Colors. It is a show about the goddess Durga’s incarnations with a balance between other gods’ stories that take the goddess from Parvati to Kali.

Chandrakanta airs on Colors TV. It is a supernatural fantasy thriller series based on a novel of the same name. It follows our heroes as they protect a mythical dagger from the forces of evil.

Shani is a historical period drama broadcast on Colors TV, based on the life of the God Shani (Wrath). The show also depicts deities from other mythology as they influence Shani in his journey.

10. Ye Hai Mohabbatein – 4, 160,000 Viewers

Ye Hai Mohabbatein is a Star Plus soap opera that started airing in 2013. Loosely based on the novel Custody, the show follows the lives of a Dentist and a CEO who end up marrying each other due to circumstances and now must figure out how to live with each other.
